What was the last book you read, and what is your opinion of it?

One of the Stephanie Plum novels, though I don't recall which one - I'm rereading them out of order. Hilarious as always, and frustrated that more people don't come to the obvious conclusion that Stephanie, Ranger and Morelli need to have a threesome.

What was the last movie you saw, and what is your opinion of it?

Oh, boy, I think it was The Incredible Hulk? And I thought that it wasn't nearly as bad as I remember everyone saying all the Hulk movies were. I was surprised to see Liv Tyler in it, honestly. Also, forget Hulk-Smash, how about some Hulk-vacuum-clapping?

No wait, it was Thor! Oh god, how I adore this movie. My thoughts and opinions run pretty much along the lines of "Loki, bb, let me give you ALL THE HUGS! Odin, you desperately need a good smack in the head and some parenting lessons. Thor, you are a sexy dork. Darcy, you said pretty much everything I was thinking of. Mud wrestling! Heimdall, you are the king of badass one-liners. The hammer is Thor's penis. Ergo, Thor pinned Loki to the Rainbow Bridge with his penis. WHY IS THERE PEACEFUL MUSIC AT THE END? LOKI FELL INTO THE COSMOS, THAT IS NOT PEACEFUL-MAKING!"

What was the last TV show you saw, and what is your opinion of it?

Sherlock, and while not as awesome to me as it clearly is to everyone else, still pretty damn awesome! Enough so that I've watched it in full more than five times in the last three weeks, and have gleefully introduced others to it so they might share in my "why did you show me this if I have to wait!" pain. I really wish they hadn't made John out to seem so foolish, though. Not to say that he wasn't intelligent, just, made to look dimmer than he really is so Sherlock really looked brilliant? Also, pretty much my entire reaction could be summed up as "Oh/Poor John."

And in the second episode, why did no one bother to knock over her chair?! It's an arrow, not a heat-seeking missile. Just get her out of the line of fire, then worry about untying her. Sheesh, and I thought you were supposed to be smart, Sherlock!

What was the last album you bought / downloaded, and what is your opinion of it?

David Cook's This Loud Morning and oh god, yes! So worth the terribly long wait! There is no song on that album I dislike, only some I like slightly less than I adore the others. "Goodbye to the Girl" is hands-down my favorite song on the album, and a close contender with "Permanent" for my favorite song by David, period. "Paper Heart" has a special place in mine because it was the first song off the album that he played live, and I was there. For that reason, I actually prefer it acoustically. I love how he made is very much a record, and not a bunch of singles thrown together with some filler. The beginning of "Circadian" and the end of "Rapid Eye Movement" just...mmmm.

What was the last meal you cooked, and how did it turn out?

Cooked? I don't cook. Um...probably French toast, and about as well as it usually does. I'm trying to figure out how to get the bread toasted all the way through without burning the eggs. My success in this endeavor...varies.
