5. As you can see, I'm scrambling here - I really don't read/watch much historical fiction?

If you were given one million dollars, on the condition that you had to give half of it away, how would you go about giving away half a million dollars?

I love the idea of being debt-free, so I'd honestly give most of it to siblings (and the brother-in-law) to help pay off school loans, and my parents to pay of the mortgage. Anything left over would probably go into trust funds for future children, with a ten-percent portion going to a charity.

Do you write letters or send cards to anyone via the postal system regularly, only for special occasions such as birthdays, or not at all?

Mostly not at all, although I wrote my brother semi-regularly while he was in boot camp. It remains to be seen whether or not I'll keep up that trend when he's stationed somewhere. I'm terrible about keeping up with people I don't see regularly - I'm doing good to send text messages, never mind phone calls. You expect me to write letters? Psht.

What is the most treasured memento you have kept?

Come to think of it, I don't really keep mementos. Umm...I have a shirt that I got from a computer week camp at MSU when I was in high school that's my favorite shirt ever?

If one of your friends phones you at 4am because they are depressed and upset, but you have an important job interview in the morning. What do you do?

Stay up and talk with them until they're settled. If they need me to, drive out to meet them somewhere. I can function on little sleep, even for interviews.

What is the phrase or quote that sums up who you are as a person?

Late to the party. Boy, is that ever true...

Bedtimes! for [community profile] thefridayfive

What do you wear to bed?

Usually PJ-pants and a tank top, sometimes PJ-shorts if it's hot.

What side of the bed do you sleep on?

I thought the right side, but now I think about it, it's actually the side closest to the door. Which at the moment is the right.

Are you back, side, or stomach sleeper?

Usually back or stomach, but I've been trying to sleep on my back more often.

How many layers of bedding are on your bed?

It depends on if I've made it yet or not. When it's made, 6 (mattress pad, fitted sheet, sheet, two blankets and a comforter); when I've washed the sheets and haven't gotten around to putting them back on yet (which can take a couple weeks :P), 3 (mattress pad, two blankets).

Are you a bed hog or a covers-thief?

Never a covers-thief, but every once in a while I'll be a bed hog. Usually, though, I sleep curled up in a corner (waste of a queen bed, oh well).
