[082] Hockey Fights Domestic Violence

helenorvanaSince the new season is just around the corner, and given everything that's happened in this off-season, and being reminded that I still need to pay last season's pledge, I think it's time to post my new pledge for #HockeyFightsDV for the 2015-2016 season.
Because two of my favorite players are fragile glass babies, I am pledging to donate $1 per game played for both Beau Bennett of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Ryan Murray of the Columbus Blue Jackets. For every 20 games they play (rounded up), I additionally pledge one crocheted baby blanket.
Additional Beau Bennett pledges: $1/goal, $0.50/point, and $0.25/shot, with a bonus $5/hat trick
Additional Ryan Murray pledges: $1/point, $0.50/(credited) takeaway, $0.25/blocked shot
Additional pledge: $10/dick trick (4 goals in one game) scored by any player in the league
As I did last season, all of these pledges will be doubled in the playoffs, with the exception of the baby blanket pledge: I will make one baby blanket per series either player plays at least two games in.
I will again be donating both money and blankets to SafeNest in Las Vegas, which is the largest charity for domestic violence and abuse in southern Nevada.
